I decided to give you a day off the monotony of my every waking thought. So in honour of what this blog was originally about - giving our families a regular update on the kids and what's new/different/changing - here's a little photo montage of our Sunday.
1. Xander had green pasta for tea. He loved it.
2. Later, he got a bit tired. I was picking bright green gunk out of his eye at bedtime.
3. My sister, Jelly, sent us a Happy Parcel - Converse shoes for Henry, Shooting Star PJs for Bella, a very cute outfit for Xander and some incredible chocolates for Andy and I. Which are absolutely in no way nearly gone. We love her and are very, very grateful. Here is Bella making her a thank you bracelet.
4. In fact we all got one. Even the boys. We're not allowed to take them off, ever.
5. The big kids made a sensational den. I may move in if it all gets a bit tough.
6. I got a calendar reminder about my date at Champneys tomorrow to mark my lovely friend Lou's 40th birthday. Instead we have pledged to sit in the bath in our swimming costumes and eat mini croissants all morning.
7. [Disclaimer: Many readers will find this a strange thing to share. Many others will relate.]
I came to the end of my breastfeeding journey (for want of a better word). Three babies, 24 months (in total, not each), one tongue tie, two spells of mastitis and the last time in my life I'll have anything resembling boobs.
And that was Day 10.
